I wanted someone to know what a great realtor and friend Susie Genethas become to us. My husband and I have been going through some very difficult financial difficulties in the past year or so and had come to the point that we
needed to sell our home or face foreclosure. I had no idea of who to turn to so I picked out a few realtors online from different companies and emailed them about our situation. I was immediately contacted by Susie and during our first meeting felt like I had known her forever!
It is very stressful and difficult being in our situation financially while trying to raise a 16 year old, being the sole caretaker to my 84 year old grandmother, and both my husband and I working fulltime and trying to sell a home before it is foreclosed upon.
I was scared that whatever realtor we picked would treat us completely different from a regular client, seeing that we were probably going to be forced into a short sale situation. I just didn't think we would be as important as a "regular sale" client, if that makes any sense. Susie however, was awesome! Not only did she make us feel totally
comfortable in her abilities as a sales agent, I never for one second doubted that she would get our home sold. She went out of her way to hold many open houses, advertise and stayed in constant touch with me,
even if there was no news to report.
And during our closing she was awesome when she negotiated with the two mortgage companies and then settled many unforeseen and unplanned events that occurred the day or two before closing! Whew!! I don't think we
could have ever gotten this accomplished without her!
I know that everything happens for a reason in life and although I am sorry that we ended up in this financial situation, it was a great opportunity to get to know Susie that may not have come otherwise, and
that we are truly thankful for! I have already referred her to my neighbors who have also been trying
to sell their home and will continue to refer her to many others as the opportunity arises.
We will also be using her services in the future when it is time for us to buy a home again and then again when we are ready to sell. I felt like I could totally trust Susie in everything she told me and felt like all along I didn't have just a realtor, I had a friend, and that is very important in today's age when it is very hard to trust anyone.

This is how Susie Genet became my real estate agent. I had been pre-qualified for a couple of years and last spring, I had decided to get serious about buying. I called several different agents and Susie was the one who called back, was very polite and set up a website that continously updated all properties within my specifications. She sent this to me via e-mail and I could look at the homes at my leisure. She, myself and my rommate must have looked at 25 different homes during the next few months. Susie always had this great smile and caring persona about her. She always had full diclosure about the properties and never complained when I vetoed the ones we were looking at. She made sure that I was getting the best deal for the money.
When I did find the perfect home to purchase, Susie had all the paper work completed, had contacted the seller's agent and the ball went rolling. I had never purchased a home prior to this and she and her co-worker made this experience very pleasurable. There were no complications through the whole process.
Everything went very smoothly and the day of closing, she had a house warming bucket with all kinds of goodies for our new home. It was fantastic. Since then, Susie has continued to be a friend of mine and never fails to call, send cards and well wishes. I couldn't have wished for a more competant and caring agent. She is a gem that I will treasure for a long time.
